The Ranch House at Del Sur serves as the community hub for the master-planned development by Black Mountain Ranch LLC in north San Diego. As the first building constructed within the community, it established the project’s broader commitment to sustainability and place-making.

Designed using locally sourced and reclaimed materials, the Ranch House achieved a Platinum LEED certification—among the first in the region and the first of its kind in San Diego for new construction.

Beyond its role as an information center, the building functions as a central gathering space, with indoor and outdoor areas that support community events and daily use. Its design reflects an early integration of environmental performance, material reuse, and traditional ranch-inspired architecture that helped define the character of Del Sur within the larger Black Mountain Ranch.
