Deadrock

This private ghost town in southwest Montana was conceived by NFA as a cohesive, immersive environment. The team identified and sourced historic structures from across the region, integrating them with new buildings constructed from reclaimed materials. NFA directed the character of the town at every scale—selecting furnishings and artifacts, and designing custom elements down to the horse hitches, signposts, and the antique bar—creating a place that feels both authentic and intentional. The project is now part of Crazy Mountain Ranch in Shields River Valley, near Clyde Park and Livingston, Montana
